So close to being the best wheeled duffle.
"I’m a freelance documentary cinematographer and travel extensively for work. Since purchasing my Cargo Hauler in 2022, I’ve taken it on over 200 flights. Unfortunately, it’s time to retire it—Air Canada managed to shear off the telescoping handle inside the bag. That said, the Cargo Hauler has been a solid travel companion. The 32” size is excellent for extended trips, and the overall build is rugged. The wheels have held up exceptionally well and have never given me trouble. I also really appreciated the multiple handles and lash points, which made loading and unloading into cars, boats, and float planes easy. There is some room for improvement. I only used the backpack straps once—the rigid base of the bag dug into me, even at 6’2”. The shoulder strap attachment points also seem questionable, appearing to be anchored only to the outer fabric and not the internal frame. After three years of heavy use, I’ve also noticed two wear spots on the top rear corners. These areas could benefit from some reinforcement or padding to prevent premature wear. Had Air Canada not broken it, I might have been retiring the bag soon anyway because of those wear points. I’m undecided if I’ll purchase another Cargo Hauler because of that. That said, for three years of heavy-duty travel, it performed well."
